Laura Watkins, Ph.D., has just retired as CEO of Patriots’ Trail Girl Scout Council, a position she has held for the past 15 years. She is also a professor at Northeastern and Suffolk universities, teaching graduate-level courses in nonprofit management and human resource management. She is a certified executive coach and one of thirty International Dream Coaches. She is a principal at Dovetail Consulting, a management consulting group. Laura also sits on the board of Leadership America and of the University of Massachusetts advisory board for Women in Politics and Public Policy. Laura has extensive experience in assisting nonprofit employees and volunteers to develop working relationships that empower both them and their organizations.
Laura is a founding member of the Girls’ Coalition of Greater Boston and until her retirement, served on the Leadership Council. Currently, she serves as executive coach to the Girls' Coalition director.
